[#13] Today Was A Combination...
...Of Bad and Good.

+ I did get to go out and hang out with my friends! That was good~
- The guy who we were hanging out with because he came back from the marines was weird all day and we (Cathy and I) couldn't get used to it. Doesn't help that the other two people we met, one of them was a REALLY OLD FRIEND (like we hadn't seen him for a little over two years) and awkward.
+ It wasn't too terribly cold today!
- >.> We ended up walking in circles around 42nd St. - Bryant Park to Times Square, then back to Bryant Park, then back to Times Square, then back to Bryant Park and then PAST Bryant Park to Grand Central.
+ We had the BEST FRIGGING FOOD EVER - Bubba Gump's. I had the Chipotle Shrimp again and it was DELICIOUS. (A - for my friends because the dessert they got was NOT what it was supposed to be. ....But then it was on the house because they swapped out so much. *snorts* We must've been LOUD in our complaining. XP ...I didn't eat any.)
- We didn't get to go to the movies. "NEVER LEAVE A MAN BEHIND." ...I will shoot him if he says that again. I don't care if he's in the Marines. >.> I'll risk it.
+ I got to nap a lot on my ride home. >.> Yeah, that's a frigging plus.
- My mom drives me CRAZY AT HOME - Making arguments over things that I DIDN'T EVEN SAY.
I was supposed to help my sister fold and then bring everything upstairs. My sister ends up just folding the very few clothes that there are, and then sticks me with the MILLIONS of socks and underwear. Then when I ask her to at least separate the clothes into three piles (because they go into separate rooms), she just goes back to the movie my dad was watching and puts her hand inside a popcorn bag and shrugs at me, because, I'm assuming she means to say that her HANDS ARE GREASY. a;lsdkfjaslkdfjadsf *STABSTABSTAB*
But no, then my mom comes and well:
Me: I thought I was supposed to be helping her, not doing everything by myself.
Mom: God, Angelie! Can't any of you just do things of your own want? Do things from the bottom of your heart?
Me: ...Wait, I didn't even say anything about not doing it! *aside* Who'd do chores from the bottom of their hearts anyway?
Mom: Just stop if you want to. I'll do everything - it's what you guys expect anyway. You all say "Oh, I did this. So they should do that."
Me: We only do that for DISHES. We take TURNS. *aside* Obviously. (Okay, so I'm getting bitchy. What can I say? XP)
Mom: Why can't you just do as I say? "Yes mom. I'll do so and so."
Me: ...But that's what I'm DOING! I'm just saying, Sherry (eldest sister who's 29) should be helping out too! (I didn't go down the route of SHE'S THE FRIGGING OLDEST AND NOT TO MENTION SHOULD BE FUCKING DOING SIMPLE SHIT LIKE THIS. SHE'S 29 WITHOUT A JOB AND STILL LIVING AT HOME. I COULD JUST SMACK HER. >.> ...But no, I'm nicer than that.)

Then ten minutes later, my mom asks my sister to get HANGERS. What does my sister do? Tell my mom to wait and goes on watching the movie. >.> I swear. That girl.

+/- Now I feel even worse about the fact that my parents gave me a new Ipod (my Christmas gift AND future birthday gift. LOL. I love how they're so predictable. I knew my mom was gonna say that.) Combine that with my less than better grades. And I feel like crap. ...So where does that leave this point?

Ugh. Let's do something happier.

What Desiree Means

You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row.
You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace.
People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

Er. About as happy I can get today. I'll try to write tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be more successful than my attempt today. XP

I do chores. . .when my mom makes me? XDDD Well school sucks up my life anyway so my parents don't ask too much of me, I'm grateful for that.

But you got to go out! Haven't been able to do that for a while. LOL

Awww *hugs* Don't you just freaking hate it when parents put words into your mouth? And then folow suit with spazzing and saying how ungrateful and disobediant we are. blah blah blah blah blah. Seriously though, parents are really good at making us feel guilty DX i bet they were like this when they were younger ><;;

But but...at least you got to hang out with your friends. Even though the marine guy...XD Welpz, I hope you feel better soon. *sends you rays of happiness* XD

I have the same problem, except... with my mom. :\ She's always talking about how "we" have to clean the house blahblahblah and then she makes me do everything. AND she doesn't even make an effort to KEEP it clean once *I* clean it. She doesn't do the dog papers, the cat boxes, the dishes (we have a fucking DISHWASHER), barely cooks... she works, then she sits at home and watches TV. GAH. I hate hypocrites.

That said, I feel your pain. *huggles* I would come help you if I could. *flails*

Ee, I'm glad you had a good day! Or...at least, a mostly good day. :\ I'm sorry about your home situation, especially with your elder sister, but...I really hope it gets better. ♥

I know you were talking about this a few posts back, but I found another manga that mentions JE, though barely! (KimuTaku again.)

Chocolate Cosmos.

=0 woah.

I'll do everything - it's what you guys expect anyway. You all say "Oh, I did this. So they should do that."'
...pretty much sums up what my mum has a go at me and my sister at each day
and
'SHE'S 29 WITHOUT A JOB AND STILL LIVING AT HOME.'
...is basically what i say to my mum about her. (actually she's 21 which isn't as bad but that's besides the point.)

except when my mum uses the 'fine, i'll just do everything myself' line it makes me guilty and get up to clean the house >____> which is okay because hey, they've done it for practically my entire life :/

Snort. This is so me and my husband.

You don't have to huff and go on like that, it's only folding the laundry. Don't you want to help me out?

Why the hell would I want to fold laundry?

Anyway, sorry things have been trying for you lately. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ <--- for you

Uhm, I'm an only child, but:

Mom: Why can't you just do as I say? "Yes mom. I'll do so and so."
One of the sentences every mom comes equipped with. I always reply "HAIL, MOM! *salutes*", but that only makes her angrier, though I really don't care cause it's so much fun!

Woah, and nobody tells her to help?!?!
