[#21] Things I Learned Today...
...Goes to show you that you really can learn new things, no matter how old you are.

i. Family troubles in the Philippines aren't good. We own a business in whatever town my family lives in - my dad's side, anyway. And while my dad is the oldest and should've taken over when my grandfather died, we live in the US so his brother took over. Unfortunately, said brother (and said brother's wife) are apparently stingy and won't give the youngest brother (and us really) any of the money that we're getting from this business. >.> And they only give it if someone's sick. My grandmother, who's been there for three months because she wanted to fix something, has apparently done nothing and apparently favors the brother who's handling the business. And my mom told me we gave them like 10,000 dollars to help out. >.> I didn't even KNOW we had that amount of frigging money. Geez, mom. Way to keep secrets.

ii. I have gotten to the point where I saw the second Kurosagi trailer over here and I completely squeaked when I heard Taiyou no Namida. Am I lame? Yes. Very. Why are you people friends with me again? >.> BUT GUYS. "GIRA GIRA TAIYOUUUU Kono sore dokoka de~" I LOVE THIS SONG. I've had it on repeat for god knows how long. :D

iii. My dad was disappointed when he saw that I only had Japanese songs on my iPod when I went into the dentist and left my iPod (EEEEEEEEEE, VIDEO. But I'll get to that later.) with them. I told him, quite helpfully, "No, dad. Only half is Japanese!" (Truthfully, probably 2/3rds is Japanese. Whoops.)

iv. I have apparently never been thought the proper way to brush my teeth - I do okay, but ... >.> Apparently my old dentist as a kid sucked if I was not properly taught this. ~_~

v. My parents are strange.

It's like a game. Who can one-up the other in feeling more sick?
*in the car on the way home*
Mom: I have a head-ache!
Dad: Well, I have a stomach-ache!
Mom: Well I need to use the bathroom really badly!
Dad: Well I need to crap. And it's coming out.
Me: OH COME ON GUYS. ENOUGH ALREADY.
>.> Thankfully we were like 5 minutes away from home.

At least my mom would throw away her fear of driving for something:
Mom: I'll drive if you want, if your stomach hurts.
Dad: Yeah right! We're five minutes away and you want me to stop.
Me: Yeah, and those five minutes would take 20 minutes.
Mom: You're not any better!
Me: Better than you, anyway.
Clarification: Dad - 5 minutes, Mom - 20 minutes, Me - 10-15: not the worst, but I can't go as fast as my dad can. >.> I can only go over the speed limit at most 10. My dad goes 15-20 over. >.> I swear. He's lucky he's only gotten caught once.


vi. I am wordy. This isn't news to anyone, but I realized that if I can be so wordy in my everyday life when I do shit - what'll happen when I talk about something I love? >.>

vii. I am going to a 50-year-old birthday party tmr. I was napping because I'd only gotten 4 hours of sleep last night (we went to the dentist early and my mom purposely told me we were leaving an hour before we were - what a meanie. I'm not the sister who can't get ready in time. That's the other two, thnx. plz to not mix us up. Mixing up names is one thing). And she bursts into the room and shouts, "Angelie!" I like practically flail in my blankets and shoot up and articulately go, "ngh?" My mom, who's still on the phone mind you, goes "You're going to the party tmr!" then promptly walks out. My first reaction is to go, "HUH?!" Then I feel exhausted so I go, "forget it. Tell me when I'm awake," and promptly go to bed.

viii. I may get to wear the silver dress I was supposed to wear in California: this dress. I hope so. I have kick-ass shoes that I bought to go with them (the heel's crazy high though). But I'm worried it's too fancy for it. It's supposed to be semi-formal and I'm not sure this goes.

ix. There really isn't a 9.
...Oh wait! I got to put in videos into my new shiny iPod. And I put in about 6 things - I died laughing watching NewS on Utaban (the one with the Billionaire game + electricity + sole of foot - I want them back on Utaban. Just saying). And watching them on Music Fighter - "man-woman relations". *dies in her laughter* Oh Koyama. <3333 The wonders of that man.

x. I just wanted to end in a good number. Woot? (I guess I learned I need to finish more shit instead of starting it.)

WIP Meme:

I did this last time and I posted only the ones that were close to finishing - I did finish all three actually. >.> Problem was that it ended up being really bad. Two out of three anyway. I posted the Yamapi one. But yeah. It was just...>.> Maybe doing this will get me to finish them. I hope so. I didn't put in any of the fics that I had started on LJ randomly - it'd be cheating, ne? You guys already "know" of them. None of these are titled because that's usually the last thing I do when I write a story. XP

1) pin-office. Pin. Totally not gen. XP
That's literally what my filename says. LOL. Seriously, my filenames pretty much blow the entire story. This one, I came up with a long time ago - back when me and Rhey were both wondering the different types of office + Pi stories we could have. And I came up with this one where Jin's an intern at Yamapi's office - and Yamapi despises him. I started it very quickly, except I died after a few paragraphs. I didn't even have the exchange that I wanted where Ryo tells Yamapi all these things about Jin and Yamapi asks Ryo how he knows and Ryo jokingly snarks, "I'm a ninja, obviously." This was back when I didn't expect Ryo to come into stories and he always ninja!ed into them somehow. LOL. What. I never said I was witty.


Cookie: "I don't like him!" Tomohisa ranted, laying his head flat on the table.

He was met with a scoff and Tomohisa lifted his head slightly to glare at his long time friend. Nishikido Ryo shook his head, pushing off from the wall he had been leaning against. "You're just jealous that nobody's kissing up to you anymore."

Tomohisa growled darkly, "I am not." He laid his head back down, muttering, "They still kiss my ass anyway."

Ryo snorted. "And what a pretty little ass it is," he snarked.

2) robbers!news. NewS. Gen. (Inserts of KAT-TUN, Toma, Maki, Aragaki Yui.)
I still really wanna finish this, but it ended up being really convoluted in my head. I totally know how I want it to end, but to get from point A to point B? Um... Not as easy. This was because of NewS' shoot in Wink Up (I think it was Wink Up anyway) where I insisted that NewS would totally be robbers - although when I talked about it in chat with Cyn, I made them such fail. When I started writing, they were a lot more together about themselves.


Cookie: "Six times, Nishikido. Doesn't that say something to you?" Kawashimaa sked from his seat across the table, locking eyes with the more than often tempermental male of the six.

Ryo was sitting sideways in his chair, his eyes on the door before he turned to look Kawashima in the eye. "Yeah, it does," Ryo said, a hint of a smile twitching at the edges of his lips. "You have an odd way of showing your affection, detective. Most people nowadays use a phone."He mock-gestured making a phone call with his hands, grinning wickedly at Kawashima.

"So you're the brains of the group," Kawashima stated nonchalantly as he opened the file to Shige's profile page.

Shige blinked before leaning over to look at the line that said he had graduated from Aoyama Law School. "Well," Shige started, a bashfu lsmile on his face and tinge of pride in his voice as he spoke, "I guess you could say that."

"In other words, you orchastrated every single one of the break-ins to the T,"Kawashima snapped; his voice growing octaves. "How you entered,what time each guard switched shifts." Shige opened his mouth to protest, but Kawashima continued on, "Every detail from the layout of the building to the best way to crack the safe; isn't that right, Kato?"

Shige stared at Kawashima - his expression changing from horrified to incredulous. "Weren't we just talking about how smart Iwas?" He looked uncomfortable as he fidgeted in his seat, "Can't we just go back to that?"

3) tegopi3. Tegopi.
This was basically the last time I tried to write Tegopi. For being my OTP, they're frigging hard to write for. I was writing this for something else, but then I realized it completely didn't fit so I just saved it. Putting it in here instead just so I wouldn't forget it.


Cookie: "You see, I have this... problem." Yamapi thought that that was obvious enough. "And I'm not sure how to solve it."

Yamapi blinked. Tegoshi stopped there. It was obvious that Yamapi was going to have to prompt him. "And... What exactly is this problem?"

At this point, Tegoshi started fidgeting in his seat, and the whole thing might've been considered cute were Tegoshi still 15. But considering how he was 19, near 20, at this point, it was more worrying than anything. "It's just that... ithinkimighthavefeelingsforsomeone."

Yamapi blinked. "And?"

"It's not an 'AND?'" Tegoshi cried, fumbling his hands together, his eyes still staring down at them. "I work with this person and it's hard and I can't handle it. And I don't know-" He stopped mid-sentence when Yamapi reached out and placed his hands on top of Tegoshi's. Tegoshi's eyes followed the line of his arms up to Yamapi's face and held back a breath.

4) tomashun. Toma/Shun, set of Hana Kimi.
I started this while Hana Kimi was still running and the fact that Toma/Shun had kissed 12 times was still absolutely stunning news. (I still find it hilarious.) And well... Somehow it came up in conversation that Shun sure has worked with a whole lot of Johnny's boys (I went and looked today - about 7? I don't remember anymore. Too lazy to go look), and um... It essentially centers around Shun maybe being a kiss fiend like his character in Hana Kimi. *snorts*


Cookie: "It's just that.." Yamapi starts, then takes a breath and breaks the news. "He has a tendency to kiss all the Johnny's he works with." Yamapi lets out an awkward chuckle, "He says that bonding with us takes drastic measures and what better way than to...kiss your fellow co-stars."

Toma lets out a wrangled choke. "But that doesn't even make sense!" Toma sputters. His eyes furrow together. "He doesn't... make out with you or anything..right?"

This time, Yamapi chokes. "No!" he exclaims and Toma can hear a chair tumble to the ground. "No, no. It's just a... peck. Nothing big and it's usually only once."

"Usually?" Toma raises an eyebrow, even though Yamapi can't see it over the phone.

"Well... If he really likes you, a few more times," Yamapi says, sounding a little calmer now.

"And you?" Toma asks.

Yamapi coughs a little before excusing himself.

5) [ryopin] onsen trip. Ryopin. Probably not gen.
And here we go. We start on fics that I promised people I'd write. This one is for Rhey. LOL. Which is essentially what a lot of the fics in my WIPs are. XP But this one, I promised her on New Year's. I told her I'd write her something and it'd be the first thing she saw, except I never finished it. ...Oops. >.> But essentially, it's like the title says. Ryopin goes on an onsen trip - lots of Ryo snark, Jin being pissy because he was left out the night before while Ryopi got drunk, Yamapi trying to calm his two best friends down - because someone has to be sane. Beyond that, I have no idea.


Cookie: "If you girls would stop arguing, I'd like to get back to sleep," Ryo said, his voice muffled against the couch.

"I'd say the same, but you're still on top of me and your bony hip is poking into my spine."

Ryo grinded the side of his hip against Yamapi's back even more forcefully. "Deal with it. It's your stupid friend that woke me up."

"He's our friend," Yamapi pointed out, sighing - he knew he wasn't going back to sleep any time soon - and rubbed his eyes in exhaustion.

"Not anymore," Ryo snapped angrily. He lifted his head just enough to catch Jin's eye. "I'm disowning him."

Jin only grinned cheekily.

6) Baby!Pin. Pin.
Oh god. This fic. This is one of my Epics. I have several - Robbers!NewS, I have a file to start this AU with NewS being a rock band, but that has nothing beyond one line and the idea. And others that I'll be revealing here. This one was an idea made by Rhey for Alena, but I begged Alena if I could write it because... I was attached to this idea. It's a future fic, where JE has completely broken apart - everyone's separated including Pin - Jin went to America, Yamapi stayed, went into Entertainment (obvs), got married and had a child, but his wife died. Jin and Yamapi have some falling out, right before Yamapi gets married so they lose touch. Then Jin comes back about 5 years after the company fell apart and his first visit is to Yamapi's place and lo and behold, Yamapi has a child. ...And that's essentially the entire beginning. *laughs* I got so excited at one point that I showed the entire thing to Rhey, but I haven't had a chance to go back to it. Sadly. I do have an outline of the first two chapters and where I want the story to go... Yes. That's how much thought was put into it - I even added what everyone was going to be doing in the future. XP


Cookie: “Papa?” a child's voice calls from inside the house and Jin has to blink a couple of times when a little boy's head emerges from between Yamapi's leg.

“Papa?” Jin whispers to himself, but in the quiet of the neighborhood, all three can hear the word.

Yamapi's eyes soften instantly and Jin has a brief moment of realization that this was what had brought about the laugh lines. Yamapi bends over and pulls the young boy out from behind him. He bends down to Raimu's level as he pats the little boy on the head, a smile appearing naturally on his lips. “Raimu, meet Akanishi-kun,” Yamapi says softly. Jin almost flinches at the formality. Yamapi's eyes dart from Raimu's to meet Jin's. “Akanishi-kun.” This time, Jin doesn't hold back his flinch. He knows that this is how things should be, but he feels like even he or rather especially because it was him that he should've gotten a much better reaction. “Meet Raimu,” Yamapi says and there's an audible pause before Yamapi continues the rest of his sentence, “my son.”

“Raimu,” Yamapi prods; his eyes haven't left Jin's at all. The younger boy faces his father and that's when Yamapi finally tears his eyes away. “Why don't you go inside and get your snack ready? It's almost three.”

Raimu almost squeaks before he waves good-bye to Jin and dashes inside. The two males outside watch as he rounds the corner and then disappears from sight. The two stand up slowly and gauge each other. It feels like an eternity before Jin breaks the silence. “A son, huh?”

Yamapi's eyes are steely, “A son.”

Maybe he thinks it'll drill in the message, but Jin repeats it again, “A son.” This time, Yamapi only nods slowly, looking suddenly drained in the motion. Jin feels like his world has been flipped upside down.


Did I mention that I kinda love this story? No? I do. If only I could get myself to write more. ~_~

7) clubpin. Pin. Inhibitions.
This one has a title mainly because I know where this is going. Now if it could end. It's really fucking long - over 2000 words now and all it is is tension upon tension upon tension. I forget what sparked this, but Rhey was babbling about Pin + Club fic. And you know how I am, guys. >.< I am easy for a reason. *snorts* Anyway, this one just really has Pin being new but all this sexual tension and ngh. I WANNA FINISH THIS SO BADLY. >.> They haven't even gotten indoors yet.


Cookie: "What, were you jealous, Pi?" Jin's voice has this edge to it that Yamapi can't quite define, even if he was in the right mind. "You'd been eyeing her for a while. I just made a move unlike you."

Yamapi wants to protest this; to say that maybe he would've moved if Jin hadn't been so quick to jump to conclusions, but when he opens his mouth, his voice doesn't come out so he shuts it abruptly, hoping Jin didn't notice. His head is still spinning and Yamapi doesn't know why they're even still talking when he can't even think straight.

Jin's breath is right on top of his lips and Yamapi's so startled that he thinks he'd jump back in surprise if he could. He blinks furiously and his vision clears just enough for him to see Jin hovering right above him, his lips just inches away and Yamapi can't help but wonder what's going to happen. "She had her hands in my hair, and she whispered the things she wanted to do to me. Me to do to her." Jin's voice drops and Yamapi thinks he's never heard anything as sexy as that. And it doesn't even matter what Jin's saying anymore. He just wants to hear more of Jin talking.

"She kissed me." Jin laughs right after, "Or maybe I kissed her. Who knows really. Did you want to feel her lips on yours?"

Yamapi wants to tell him that, no, he really didn't and why the fuck was Jin still talking, but his voice is still stuck in his throat and his eyes are shutting from the exhausting task of keeping them open. But then Jin's lips are on his eyelids and Yamapi almost jerks them open. "Wha?" escapes from Yamapi's lips.

"I can show you," Jin murmurs, his lips descending upon Yamapi's and Yamapi wonders if that's even really possible and isn't Jin just kissing Yamapi himself? But then Jin slides his tongue into Yamapi's mouth and every sensation is magnified as he can feel Jin lightly making a trail down one of Yamapi's arms with his fingernails. His mouth is hot and wet and their lips slide against each other, as Jin shifts his head slightly, opening his mouth wider.

...Big cookie because I fucking loved that scene. What. :D

8) EPICS. ...Er. Ryoda.
This one is another epic I'm working on. This time, it's for Alena though, obviously by the fact that there's Ryoda. LOL. This one, I am also in love with. I don't really know why, but I came up with the idea that for Ueda's first drama role - they'd use another Johnny to help balance things out. And it ends up being Ryo. Really the whole story is throughout the drama - a high school drama where (from notes) "Ryo's character is to learn humility. Humanity. Friendship." And it's supposed to mirror real life in a way, except Ueda's character is nothing like Ueda - think something like Akira from NwP except not as eccentric. (Because who could ever duplicate Yamapi's awesomeness as Akira, seriously.) It also touches on a lot of the Kanjani8 vs. NewS controversy that IDK, I felt should be talked about in a fic. And no, not as in, one's better than the other, but (from notes) "Ueda shows him that there's different types of group pride as Ueda doesn't have as STRONG obvious KAT-TUN pride as the others. It's the same for Ryo and NewS. He loves them just as much as Kanjani8, but he's more verbal about Kanjani8 because that's what he's used to. He's done it for longer." If that at all makes sense. LOL.


Cookie: “Of all the characters, why that one?” Ryo asked, his curiosity at a high.

Ueda frowned, “What does it matter to you?”

Ryo jerked his head towards Ueda, a glare affixed on his face, “It matters when your screw-ups are affecting how I perform.”

The older male remained quiet, his eyes just holding Ryo's into his gaze and soon, Ryo felt like fidgeting in his spot.

Instead of waiting for Ueda to say something, Ryo continued talking, “And it's not like this character's anything like you. You have nothing to show for this person. And it's not like you're mirroring him, so what was the point?” He dragged a hand through his hair awkwardly, but he never once broke their connection.

Ueda sighed, “I like him.” Ryo's eyebrows raised, but he didn't say a word. “He acts friendly and kind and he keeps talking to Yukio even though he doesn't even acknowledge Keitaro and I don't really know why he does what he does.”

Ryo sputtered, “You don't know why he does what he does? That's part of acting! Getting into the role.” He scoffed. “Why act a person that you don't even understand?”

“People I don't understand intrigue me,” Ueda said softly, his eyes staying fixed on Ryo's.

9) news - member ai. NewS/NewS. Totally not Gen. Five Ways NewS tried to strengthen their Member Ai.
I think this one was for Alena - she prompted me ...I think. I don't remember, this is that old. >.< Who would've known. What the hell. I've done 3/5, but 2/5 wasn't how I wanted it so I have to rewrite it all. XPPP But yeah, it's essentially done - just needs a lot of rewriting there. *nods nods* No porn, mainly because I can't porn Massu whatsoever. XP


Cookie: Nobody's surprised when it turns out that Tegoshi is a microphone hogger. In fact, most of them expected it, however, when they find that if they get a couple of drinks into Shige, he's just as much a microphone hogger as Tegoshi is.

And not in a good way they think as they listen to him, flinching as Shige belts out a rendition of Arashi's Wish that ends up being darker and slower than the actual song is supposed to be. Ryo groans loudly, pulling the microphone away from Shige when the song ends.

"Tego-nyan, is this really your idea of a good time?" he complains, an elbow immediately nudging his stomach a second later. He growls, turning to the person who elbowed him and only sees Yamapi's stern gaze on his. Ryo almost growls again, but then Yamapi shifts his head just a tiny bit and Ryo mumbles his apologies.

Tegoshi giggles, "It's fun, ne?" The next song is his and the rest of the members settle in for what appears to be a long night.

10) rainypin. Pin. Completely AU.
This one is also for Rhey. I don't know how this one came up but the premise is essentially Jin lives off the street, Yamapi is a rich businessman who finds Jin after he's collapsed on the floor. This one... is really written weird. I was testing the boundaries of how my writing style could change so... It's a little awkward, I think. I got the idea though from Flowers from Algernon. Except no bad spelling. XP


Cookie: but none of this matters.
what matters is that it was raining on the day that i met Him.

i can't remember it clearly enough.
i had been suffering from a fever (one that i've had for a few days actually) and the only refuge i could find was on the floor of an archway about three streets down from the corner that i usually stayed on.

i do remember his face close to mine.
why he was so close, i can't remember, but his face was only inches from my own. my vision is hazy, but even so, i can still make some things out. his lips are soft and red and plump and his nose is small and his skin looks soft. but it's really his eyes that interest me. they're wide. curious. beautiful.

kind.

11) jinmaki. Jin/Maki.
Um. This was a gift for Cyn but I needed to revise it more before I completely finish it. Um. It's just really random and during when Kurosagi the movie should've been filming and was just ... really random. Again. >.> Yamapi's supposed to be in older brother mode, but I didn't get to write that scene in. LOL. I was in far too much a rush because I'd scribbled this down right before work one morning and left it as a comment drabble. LOL.


Cookie: Maki nodded vigorously as she wondered what the assistant would've thought at the fact that Jin was there and she was just standing there in only her bathrobe (she could just imagine the rumors).

She turned back to Jin, "You know, I have to get ready."

Jin smirked, closing the magazine and crossing his legs, leaning an elbow against the couch's armrest and resting his head on his hand. "Go right ahead," he leered.

Maki glared and she contemplated throwing the nearest object (a lamp) at his head. "Preferably without you in here."

He clucked his tongue. "Ahhh~ depriving me of one of the wonders of life," he said solemnly and Maki decided that as soon as she was dressed, she would most definitely throw something at his head. Jin did get up though (taking the magazine with him) and headed for the door. He turned around and grinned, "Have a good shoot. Tell Pi I said hi."

12) yamapimaki. Yamapi/Maki.
This one was a collab (kinda) with Cyn - completely not finished because about 3 or 4 scenes are still missing. But essentially - Yamapi and Maki are under this silent feud where they have a truce because they're filming the movie, but they don't "like" each other. However, Maki's just hiding because she got hurt when Yamapi inexplicably broke it off last time and Yamapi doesn't wanna hurt her again so he keeps away. Surprise entrance by Toma who patches things up in the end because my Toma always fixes things. >.>


Cookie: Yamapi falls back into his Kurosagi role easily. He's not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. He thinks Kurosagi is one of those people he'd kinda like to be like (well, minus the swindling part): he's calm, cool, collected. Yamapi finds himself to dorky, really quirky and just a goof. So when he's dealing with Maki, he thinks Kurosagi's the best person to act as (unlike someone like Akira who's much too close to his own personality that it would have been useless).

After all, if Maki's going to act around him, he just has to do the same. But he's sure Kurosagi's heart wouldn't be beating as fast as his was when Maki has her arms wrapped around Kurosagi, pleading, begging, crying as she asks him to stay. Stop everything. Leave this stupid world he's in behind. She has tears rolling down her face, he's sure, but he can't tell with the rain beating down on them as hard as it is.

Yamapi knows he can be emotionless sometimes (as can Kurosagi but only when need be). But Maki looks up at him and Yamapi tries to stop his breath from catching, his face from softening and his heart from melting. He only manages to do two of the three. It's hard, but he finds himself walking away. (It's the scene after all.)

But he's almost sure he sees an extra hint of hurt in Maki's eyes and he wonders if she's imagining this as though HE'S leaving her. Not Kurosagi. But Yamapi. He finds it difficult to keep from stopping and turning around. But he's a professional. And Maki knows that.

...He hopes she does anyway.
